Provision of the continuous and competitive development of the non-oil sector in the country is specified as one of the priority directions of the economic political course defined by Mr. IlhamAliyev, the President of Azerbaijan Republic. Serious progress has been made in the share of private sector, the replacement of import and the increase of export potential in the non-oil sector of our country as a result of the execution of the state programs adopted by the head of the state recently.

We established “Azermash” OSC company acting in the field of automobile production which will be considered as innovation for the economy of our republic on 15 November 2017 by being inspired from the economic reforms made and the fertile condition created for the entrepreneurs in the country. The company took the development of the car production industry in Azerbaijan as the target. For the same purpose, it established “Azermash Group” LLC car making factory which is one of the residents of Hajigabul Industrial District. The production of commercial cars of light and average tonnage, cars of special appointment (ambulances, school buses, garbage collecting trucks and others) and passenger buses of small and large capacity is implemented in this factory. The production is organized within the framework of the agreement of cooperation concluded between the Japanese “Isuzu” and Russian “GAZ” brands. The foundation of the factory was laid in February, 2020 and its official opening ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. President in April of the current year.
